The terms that apply when you use this website, request a quote, or buy products from North Edge Distribution.

About these terms
North Edge Distribution ("we", "us") supplies tape, 3M tape, stretch wrap, shrink wrap, and related dispensers and equipment to businesses across Canada. By using this website or placing an order with us, you agree to these terms. If a written quote or signed agreement with us says something different, that document applies to that order.
The catalog
- Prices are not shown online. Every price is quoted by a specialist for the quantity you need.
- Each size has its own model number (for example NED-6735). Use it when you call or email so we quote the right item.
- Dimensions, thickness, and case packs are nominal manufacturer figures. Small variations within normal manufacturing tolerances are not defects.
- Photos show the product type and may not match every size, colour, or core exactly.
- We may change the catalog, specifications, or available sizes at any time without notice.
Accounts
Give us accurate company, contact, and billing information when you open an account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for anything done under your login, so keep your password private. We may refuse, suspend, or close an account if the information is false, if invoices go unpaid, or if the account is misused.
Quotes and orders
- To order, call us or email the model numbers and quantities. Items left in the website cart or sent through checkout are a request for a quote, not a completed purchase.
- An order is accepted only when we confirm it to you by phone or in writing with the price, quantity, and delivery details.
- Quotes are valid for 30 days unless the quote says otherwise. Prices can change after that, or sooner if the manufacturer raises prices before we confirm your order.
- Prices are in Canadian dollars. Sales taxes (GST, HST, PST, or QST), freight, and any fuel or residential delivery charges are extra unless the quote includes them.
- If an item is unavailable, we may offer an equivalent product. We will not ship a substitute without telling you first.
- We may refuse or cancel any order, for example because of a pricing error or a stock shortage. If you have already paid, we will refund you in full.
Payment
New customers may be asked to pay before we ship. Approved accounts pay on the terms shown on the invoice. If a payment is late, we may hold further shipments until the account is brought up to date. Products remain our property until they are paid for in full, where the law allows.
Shipping and delivery
We ship to the address on your order. Delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees. Please make sure someone can receive the shipment, including pallets where needed. Check every delivery when it arrives: note any visible damage on the carrier's delivery receipt, and tell us about damage or missing items within five business days.
Returns
Unopened products in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery with a return authorization number from us. Call or email us first; returns sent without authorization may be refused. A restocking fee may apply. Opened cases, special-order items, and custom sizes cannot be returned unless they are defective or we shipped the wrong item. Return freight is paid by the customer unless the error was ours.
Warranty
Products carry the manufacturer's warranty, where one is offered. If a product is defective, we will replace it, credit it, or refund it, at our choice. You are responsible for choosing the right product for your application and testing it before full use.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about a product is limited to the price you paid for that product. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost production, or delayed shipments of your own goods.
Trademarks and website content
NorthEdge, NED, and our model numbers belong to us. 3M, Scotch, VHB, and other brand names belong to their owners and are used only to identify their products. The text, photos, and layout of this website may not be copied, scraped, or reused without our written permission.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page; the version in effect when you place an order applies to that order.
